Coach Jim McElwain and the Gators picked up a verbal commitment, their second in three days, Saturday from a highly recruited in-state wide receiver.

Maurice Goolsby, a 6-foot-5, 195-pound prospect out of Dunnellon High, verbally committed to Florida’s 2019 class via his Twitter account.

Goolsby’s offer list currently stands at 15 schools, including Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, Miami and Tennessee.

He’s ranked as the No. 23 overall prospect in the 2019 class from the state of Florida and a four-star prospect by 247Sports.

With Goolsby’s commitment, which is non-binding until he signs a letter of intent, the Gators have seven commitments in the 2019 class.
